Pilot Alfa Laval evaporation system for concentrating feed from 12% to 65% (dry solids by weight percentage). Unit has a 1-effect evaporation system driven by motive steam. Product In: flow rate 200 kg/hr - pressure 1,5 barA - temperature 15 °C - concentrate 12%. Product out: flow rate 37 kg/hr - pressure 2 barA - temperature 63°C - concentrate 65%. Main equipment: Effect- PHE, Condensor PHE, Preheater PHE-Feed, Preheater-Water, Cyclone separator for Effect-1, Feed pump, Water loop pump, Effect-I reciruclation pump 1, Effect-I recirculation pump 2, Effect-1 condensate pump, Condenser condensate pump, drain pump and vacuum pump. Drawing no. 9661468089. State of the machine: Excellent. Documentation digitally available: Electrical diagrams, Technical documentation, PID, Component drawings, Installation and Operation Manual. Originally built for R&D factory, newly built and prepared for operation. However, never proactively used for (test) production.
